If an audit letter arrived on Monday, could your organisation run a controlled response? The Audit Response Readiness Assessment answers that question before you need to find out the hard way.
What we assess
This is a fixed-fee, fixed-scope review of the operational readiness that decides how an audit goes. A senior practitioner assesses and scores four areas.
Governance. Who would own the response, how decisions would be made and escalated, and how leadership would be kept informed.
Roles and accountabilities. Whether the people who would be needed across IT, procurement, finance and legal know their part, and whether anyone is clearly accountable for the whole.
Response process. How a notice would be received and triaged, how data requests would be logged and tracked, and how evidence would be gathered, checked and released.
Stakeholder discipline. Whether communication with an auditor would run through one controlled channel, or whether anyone could answer a "quick question" and put it on the record.
What you receive
A scored readiness snapshot and prioritised recommendations, delivered within two weeks. The recommendations focus on what will make the biggest difference to how a real response would run, so you know where to start.
What it is not
We assess how you would run the response, not your licensing position. We do not review your deployments or entitlements or estimate your exposure. For compliance analysis we work alongside specialist SAM consultancies, and we can point you to the right one if you need it.
Why do it before you need it
Audits rarely go wrong all at once; they drift, and most of the drift comes from gaps in ownership and process that existed long before the notice arrived. Finding them now costs far less than finding them mid-audit. The assessment is also a low-commitment way to see how we work, with agreements in place before you ever need us at speed.
