Starstrike Project Management is an independent, family-run consultancy, founded in 2022 by husband-and-wife team Scott and Christina Gough. Independence means our advice is never shaped by vendors, resellers, or software publishers. Family-run means the two names behind the business are the same two people accountable for your engagement.
We built Starstrike on a simple belief: the projects with the highest stakes deserve honest advice, disciplined delivery, and a personal standard of care.
Successful projects aren't delivered by methodology alone. They're delivered by understanding people, adapting to change, and keeping sight of the outcome.
I've built my career on that belief over more than fifteen years leading complex technology programmes. As Managing Director of Starstrike Project Management, I now focus on the engagements where the stakes are highest: software audits, licensing programmes, and SAM transformations.
These projects sit at the point where technical detail meets serious commercial exposure, and without dedicated project leadership they often stall. My background in project management and PMO gives organisations the structure and pace to see them through. Starstrike is also completely independent. There are no reseller agreements, vendor partnerships, or consultancy agendas behind our advice, so the only thing shaping it is what gets the best result for the client.
I don't force projects into a single methodology. Every organisation and every challenge is different, so I use Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid of the two depending on what the engagement actually needs.
Clients tell me they value the working relationship as much as the results. Good projects are built on honest communication, and my aim is to make even the most pressured engagement feel structured and achievable.
Away from work I'm a family man first. My wife Christina, who is also Starstrike's Financial Controller, and I have six sons and a small menagerie at home. Spare time usually means fishing, walking the dogs, or writing.
Behind every reliable business is someone making sure the details are right and every decision stands up to scrutiny. At Starstrike Project Management, that's my job.
I've been part of the business from the start, overseeing our financial management and making sure the standards we ask of ourselves match the ones our clients expect from us.
Alongside my role at Starstrike, I've built a long career supporting adults with severe disabilities, managing and safeguarding finances for people who depend on others to protect their interests. That work leaves no room for error. It demands accuracy, integrity, and a real sense of responsibility, and I bring the same discipline to everything we do here.
That background in financial auditing and looking after other people's money has shaped how I think about governance and accountability. It has also shaped Starstrike itself. Our processes are built so clients always know where they stand.
I believe trust is earned through honesty and consistency. Whether I'm keeping our financial controls robust or weighing in on the direction of the business, my focus is on being a firm clients can rely on without a second thought.
Away from work, and to nearly everyone who knows me, I'm Chrissie. Family comes first. Scott and I share the happy chaos of six sons and a houseful of pets. I love family holidays, long walks with the dogs, and, much to Scott's amusement, a good emotional documentary.
Scott delivers the projects. I look after the stability and financial stewardship behind them. We share a simple belief: every client deserves honesty, professionalism, and a genuinely personal approach.
